Imaging Edge viewer crashing
Hi, I have just downloaded Imaging Edge onto a Windows 11 pc. The Viewer window crashes after a couple of seconds, the Edit window is fine. I uninstalled and reloaded the software but it made no difference. Can anyone suggest what the problem may be and what I can do about it? Any help appreciated! Regards Rob

I have been using imaging ede on Windows 10 for years and no problem. Suddenly when staring the viewer it flashes on the folders and then vanishes. No error messages or anything. I uninstalled and reinstalled, still the same problem. Anyone got a solution please?

Hi, did you manage to solve the problem? I have exactly the same situation with W11. It suddenly happened.

@Ruxpin. I think it's best if you contact Sony support as its not sure that you'll receive a reply from him soon!

I'd forgotten about this one. I still have the same problem with the Viewer. I have experimented with the EDIT function (which works) but decided I prefer an alternative package for editiong my Raw images. I have not been in touch with Support. Regards.

@RobG99 I've checked again the imaging edge page: https://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/app/imagingedge/en/faqs/ hope the below helps:
- Restart your computer.
- Upgrade Imaging Edge Desktop to the latest version. (Launch Imaging Edge Desktop and click the [Update] button, if displayed.)
- If a USB cable was provided with the camera, use the supplied USB cable.
