49XG9005 - Input Lag

I had a 49XE9005 until this week when Sony replaced it with a 49XG9005, I'm struggling with input lag when playing my PS4. I can't play on it as it's awful. I have the TV set to game mode but there is a noticeable delay in response. I never had this issue with my XE. Any ideas what settings could possibly impact this, feeling a bit disappointed at the mo

Thanks for your reply. 

I've just double checked and the firmware is up to date.

The TV is in game mode, I've tried the PS4 on a different TV and that is fine.

I've just wired up my Nintendo Switch and the input lag is there too.

I read that the XF9005 suffered and issue where it has lag after a firmware update which could be fixed by a factory reset.

It worked for me, there is no noticable lag when gaming now
