Hi @Rockpoolie
You are asking your question in the Android TV forum. If you TV has the Google Play Store then it is Android. If it has the Opera TV Store then it is Linux.
Thanks, somehow TV Model number in title was entered incorrectly it should be KD 43XE8005.
However, I understand that my TV uses Android O/S hence posting here but when I try to find it on Play with the TV menu chrome isn't available
Hi Rockpoolie,
I guess the Google Chrome app is not available on the TV. The TV has Opera browser.

It is actually called Vewd now, not Opera anymore.
Chrome can either be sideloaded on Android TV or installed from the PC being logged into the Play Store with the same account as on the TV. Chrome actually seems to support Android TV. Still it is not available in the TV's Play Store. So in the browser on the PC, you can tell the Play Store to install Chrome on the TV as it is detected as a compatible device. And it will as soon as you turn the TV on and connect to the internet.
What do you need it for? I would suggest using the preinstalled Vewd. It has a much better video player. With Chrome on Android TV, pretty much any video stutters like crazy.
