KD-55X9005cbu Bravia TV

Hi

my TV loses sound and sometimes picture every 10 or 15 minutes for a second but enough to miss some content.

I have tried and tries but cant clear this fault.

Can anyone suggest how to fix this.

Thanks for the response



I disconnected my Virgin Tivo box which I normally use for everyday channels
and ran the TV thro my Amazon stick and it continued.



I then disconnected my Stick and it continued.



I believe that the TV is the source of the problem



I have changed out the HDMI cables and all of the usual things but it
continues.

Do you have the latest software version on your TV?

Yes Joe, it is PKG5.433.0183EUB

The version I linked is PKG5.435, but I'm assuming you tried to update through the TV and it reported it has the latest version.

 

That said, you can follow the steps in the link to update with a USB stick.

Joe, I finally got a USB stick and have done the update. All seems to be ok now but it has only been several hours. Regardless, thanks very much for your help, I am much obliged. Regards, John
