My new Bravia not detecting Freeview signal

I purchased a KD43XF7596 TV yesterday, but I can’t get it to find Freeview channels.

- the same antenna cable plugged into a TalkTalk Youview set top box works fine. Gets 100+ channels. Plugged into the TV, nothing.

- I did a factory reset and updated firmware.

- tried digital auto tune on full range - no channels found.

- on the manual tune page, strength and quality of signal are both zero.

- everything else on the TV seems to work as expected.

Anyone know if there is some compatibility issue here? Or is it just broken?!

Thanks,

Dave

Hi @davearrowuk  The usual cause is the aerial or aerial patch lead. However if you have tried a different aerial and/or an aerial patch lead the only other cause is it is faulty. Make sure you are selecting Digital Antenna. As you know your first point of contact should be the Retailer you bought it from.
