no sound on hdmi
I have a kd 55x8005c tv and when I connect an h96 max android box there is no sound.tried all HDMI sockets, changed HDMI cables, tried the box on 4 different makes of tv and all working fine and the firmware is also up to date.done a soft reset and factory reset but still no joy.
thing is when its plugged in to say HDMI 1 and I switch to HDMI 2 then back to HDMI 1 via the remote then the sound appears but if I change apps, say youtube to Netflix then the sound disappears again and the only way to get it back again is to switch between HDMI inputs via the remote
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Do you have the latest software version installed on your TV? It's probably a good idea to check the same for your Android box as well.

Have you tried different HDMI cables? or trying the box with a different TV/Display device?

Usually it's enabled in HDMI 2 & 3, were you using either at the time?
I'd also recommend trying to enable/disable Bravia Sync and testing in both situations.

This seems like a software issue rather than hardware since it's intermittent and works when switching the input source.
Have you tried resetting the TV to factory settings?
