Hi,
Very disappointed with the PiP/PaP feature.
Tv is a 55X8509C
Can't use PiP/PaP when using an external 4K/UltraHD source (BT Youview box)
So, I've changed the youview box to 1080p, but the only thing you can view using PaP is the built in digital tuner. It won't allow you to watch two HDMI's 😞 I wanted Sky and BT at the same time..
Anyone know if this should work??

Hi there
Questions asked about PIP/PAP picture.
- 4K tuner sources not supported
- When a 3D, 4K etc signals are detected the twin picture will be disabled
- Twin picture only available between HDMI and tuner, not between tuner + tuner, HDMI + HDMI etc.
- PiP is only for PC via HDMI + Tuner (no other combinations)
- Changing PIP location / PAP size / Audio focus à this is done in the Action Menu
- In order for PC in to be detected properly for PIP it needs to output via HDMI using:
Corresponding PC input signal
(Resolution, Horizontal frequency/Vertical frequency)
640 x 480, 31.5 kHz/60 Hz
800 x 600, 37.9 kHz/60 Hz
1024 x 768, 48.4 kHz/60 Hz
1280 x 1024, 64.0 kHz/60 Hz (2K Full HD models or 4K models only)
1600 x 900, 56.0 kHz/60 Hz (2K Full HD models or 4K models only)
1920 x 1080, 67.5 kHz/60 Hz (2K Full HD models or 4K models only)*
3840 x 2160, 67.4 kHz/30 Hz (4K models only)
* The 1080p timing, when applied to the HDMI input, will be treated as a video timing and not a PC timing. This will affect the [Display] settings. To view PC content, set [Wide mode] to [Full], and [Display area] to [Full pixel] (2K models) or [+1] (4K models). ([Display area] is configurable only when [Auto display area] is set to [Off].)
Cheers
