Sony bravia KD65AG8 picture problems

Anyone having picture problems that are like concentric circles on screen from a light image on a black background. Sony have told my that my TV is working within specs so they won't do anything & the TV is just ove a year old.

It is called colour banding and it is due to the low quality of the source not the tv. You may want to enable the smooth gradation filter on the tv to try to enhance it but it still depend on how bad is the source.
