Using external wireless mic on CX625 camcorder

Hi. 

I use a HDR-CX625 camcorder to record our church services but I have to remove the audio track from the video when editing and using the audio which is recorded on our sound desk instead as there is a lot of echo from the internal mic.    Can I use a wireless microphone to transmit the audio to a receiver then connect the output to the camera using teh mic/plug in power socket.

What does Plug in power mean?

Hi Chris251245,

I'm not sure if this will work as the mic input is designed to be used with microphones not audio output devices, but, if you've all of the equipment, give it a try and share with us how it went.
