Sony BDV-N9200W vs BDV-IZ100W?

Hello,

I have an old BDV-IZ100W Home Theater system (Heimkino) and was considering upgrading to the newer but also somewhat aged BDV-N9200W system. How do they compare sound quality-wise? Will I notice a big improvement or not? I could not find any comparison between these two anywhere ...

Hi Giovanni,

well, that's hard to say.
If you compare both systems sound-wise you might not hear a big difference.

But when it comes to versatility the N9200 makes the difference, since it supports Bluetooth, build-in Wi-Fi and also some newer sound formats. Also in terms of picture quality the N9200 will be a step ahead.

Thank you for your answer. I knew about the versatility but wanted to learn about the sound quality which is the most important to me. By the looks the newer one BDV-N9200W seems to have better speakers but cant tell for sure whether it is a good upgrade sound-wise.

Hi Giovanni,

well, the only way to find this out is to listen to the BDV-N9200W

But unfortunately this is a bit difficult challenge in these weird time.
