Sony STR-DN1060 Receiver casing hum in my Woofer after swich-off.

I've had my 1060 for about six months now and have been very happy with it using a Sony 4K tv, Virgin Media Box, Apple TV, Panasonic Blu-Ray and 5.1 Bose Acoustimass system however, in the past few weeks, I have noticed a significant hum coming from my Acoustimass woofer. It's fine when the amp is on, but a few seconds after it goes into standby, I can hear a relay click and the hum starts. Somehow, the powered woofer is not getting an Earth after this relay kicks in/out. Any ideas anyone?

Hi, my last 2 sony amps have created the same problem!  I found the problem was due to no earth in the mains plug supplied from sony.  To fix the problem i screwed an earth wire from the chassis of the amp to either a radiator pipe or wired it into a seperate plug.

Thanks for your suggestion. It was one of the first things I tried but it didn't work.
