Applications not uninstalling after clearing internal storage..!!

I'm a new android user. Currently purchased  Xperia Go and its fantastic.I'm loving android.Upgraded my OS to ICS 4.0.4.

After tht i cleared internal storage(i dont know why i cleared it...damn me n my mistakes) and then I unnistalled some apps from manage applications(settings).But these applications remained on the menu screen in grey icons and again while uninstalling them android gives this error-'Application not found.The application was not found in the list of installed applications'.

I dont know wht's happening n this problem is really creeping me out.My phone is just a week old.

And when i install the same application,it replaces the grey icon and the app works..but when i try to uninstall that app,it gives me the above error..

how did you cleared the storage?

also if you moved this apps to the internal storage, that's the reason the apps arent working, just re-install them

is Sony spying on users in this forum?
