Can I update the brand new Xperia Mini Pro to 4.0.x?

Hello,

     I purchased a new Xperia Mini Pro and not yet start using it. I just inserted my SIM once and did nothing on it. At this stage can I update my software to 4.0.x using PC Companion without a SIM inserted on it. If any problem occurs during an update, can I recover my phone? Because once I heard that nokia mobiles became useless if it failed while updating. I don't know weather it is true or not. That's why I never updated my earlier phone. Can I try update the Android?

yes you can do whatever way you want

with sim card without sim card...

and yes it recoverable..

you have the proper bill of the phone or nott..??

just in case something happens , aand you have a proper bill with warranty , sony ericsson service guy will check it and replace or fix it for free
