This is probably not a new issue but I appreciate any input. I have been trying to set up a new Xperia Arc S to work on ATT's network. The phone works fine, it will send text and access internet while in a wireless area but it does not recognize or is not recognized by ATT's 3g network. In talking with ATT multiple times, I have not found the answer and during the last call, the individual said they do not support non-ATT phones. The model is LT18a. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Well that did not work...the three Update Service SUS links you sent....
so it might be the SIM card then.
is Sony spying on users in this forum?

uliwooly....yea!
The phone appears to be working now ...at least it is surfing the web riding down the highway ... so that is a good thing. I think it was a combination of A) updating the software to the lastest version and B) removing mcafee THe sim card was not replaced but once I updated and removed that program, it began working...Thanks!
