how to update via pc without pc companion cant update via phone x sp

i want to update firmware to the new update 12.1.A10.266 

but problem is i am running a old pc with windows xp sp2 which does not support the pc companion and doesnt recognize my phone when i try to connect to pc any way

update does show up on phone and i have tried multiple times but it always fails after 30-60 percent completion what do i do

best thing would be to be able to download the update on pc and transfer it to phone

You can try SUS instead but this might be either a PC issue or a slow internet connection

Another suggestion, disable your firewall and antivirus and then run either PCC or SUS
