ICS Update Issue: Unable to connect phone in MTP mode

When I connect my phone to PC in MTP mode it shows 'Internal Storage and SD card connected to PC'

But on my PC it does not show internal storage or SD card connected.

Is anybody else also having this issue????

Also note that when I connect the phone in MSC mode it shows SD card connected to PC...

and the SD card is also shown on PC...

Please SONY fix this problem ASAP.....

i.e. I am having problem in connecting my phone in MTP mode after the ICS update...

Having the same problem... One way around it is going to Settings>Xperia>Connectivity>And checking the "Install PC Companion"

Whenever your phone asks if it should install the software on connecting to the PC tap on yes and your computer will read it.

This is a temp solution I hope Sony gives a better one... I've already reset my phone once after update and it still doesn't connect the normal way

My cell phone is also even though i tried lots of times, it still could not connet the computer.

hey...

try enabling USB debugging in Settings>Developer Options>Usb Debugging

It will work i guess...
