Sadly today I dropped my lovely SL on the concrete ground, and it has some tiny little scratches on the edges. Can I get them fixed at Sony??? It really bothers me looking at it having scratches...
If you guys know any place in San Francisco that I could bring to get it fixed instead sending back to Sony, please also let me know.
Thanks

you need to replace the housing, here in the US there's only one Sony repair center (and its not here in CA) so it will take 1 or 2 months for it to be repaired, now if you do it yourself or with someone else it will void your warranty.

if you don't care about the warranty then you could buy the housing and replace it yourself, check online or ebay for the housing
this is how to teardown your phone

Thank you so much for the information. Do you know how much would it cost to be replaced the house at sony? Or my warranty would cover it? They're very tiny little, so if they're too expensive, I'd live with it and buy another SL. The SL means a lot to me, so i just love it too much
the warranty doesn't cover this type of damage, I don't know how much they will charge you, just contact them either a call or livechat. it's not going to be cheap that's for sure.

Why bother with the scratches? It's a throw-away world, in 12 months it'll be sitting in a drawer next to your N900, N95 and 7210 [why did I bother moving away from Nokia...]
@skip0pot2mus what do you mean?
lol I have obsession problem with perfection.... so it'd bother me, but I guess I just get a case for it then it'd work fine... saving the fixing money for a new one. thanks anyway
no problem, you might want to buy a protective case to hide the scratches.
yeah I am buying one. Those scratches are like dots, so barely noticeable. Should have bought the case when I bought the phone though
