problem with ear speaker

got my xperia p like 3 days ago and when i call someone the ear speaker makes a distortion sound like when you put your speakers at maximum levels.this happens when the ''beep'' sound plays (when im waiting for the other to pick up) and when the other person talks..does anyone else have this kind of prob ? im confused if it's hardware's problem or just another ics bug.let me know ppl thanx

You can check the ear speaker in the service menu.

Enter *#*#73556673#*#* and go to service tests.

If sounds bad here as well I suggest that you try to run a software reinstall using SUS.

And if the problem still remains you should contact your local support team, to have the phone examined and fixed at an repair center.
