Unable to update Xperia Arc S to ICS

Hi, I am unable to update my Xperia Arc S to the latest ICS update available.

As per the SI list i checked, my Phone should get an update.

SI - 1253-9246

It has Android version as 2.3.4 & when I run PC companion , it says that Your phone has the latest updated Software.

Please guide me.

Hello, I tried this procedure with my Xperia Arc S (LT18), but still I'm getting a "Your phone has the latest updated Software" message, although I have Android 2.3.4 version.

I even updated the 2.3.4 version again, to have a clean system, but the result is the same.

Please, could you describe which specific steps worked for you?

@andywarhol09 your carrier is not going to release the update that's why you get that message
