Video Calling in Neo V...

Recently I bought Xperia Neo V.. I was very dissapointed after knowing that it does,nt support video calls.. Even Samsung Wave with Bada OS suppports video calling. But very surprised that my phone does'nt support the same. Please let me know if there is any software update for the support of video calls provided by SE.. It would be very helpful for all SE customers.

Unfortunately there is no Video calling application that we supply, I can only advise that you use the Android Market to find such applications.

That was a silly reply.. I know that we can find such applications in Android market. But the  other phone should also support the same application moreover it consumes data usage. I just want to make  a point that how SE missed such basic function. I was suggesting if any software upgrade is provided it would be helpful.

My freinds suggested Samsung but being a hard core fan of Sony I bought this..

I also own Neo V and have used video calling.You can download skype from Android market (it's free) and create an account, then you can use it (other phone should also have the same options).

I have paid 18000Rs for this phone and still I do not have video calling facility. Even micromax A70 (6000Rs) phone have this feature. 1 year back I switched to samsung and because of Neo V I came back to Sony Ericsson but with this experience I will never come back to sony in future. Learn something from Samsung that how to develope a phone and include this feature in this and future phones.

android doesn't this, samsung made an add on to their android phones (galaxy SI and SII) not even IOs does this

If Samsung can add something better for their customer then, why can't Sony Ericsson does?

Don't take examples of the bad things to be better always follow the best in class technology.

IOs have many more good thing which nobody have.

I do agree on the first part that SE should not just copy but improve this features, in some countries video calls over 3G seem to be extremely popular instead of using a data plan (skype, yahoo, tango, gtalk, etc)

you will find that the iphone has better selection of high quality games more impressive graphics such as infinity Blade and Shadowgun. You will also find that apps either iphone first(such as Netflixs) or exclusively (such as Instagram) and just look more polished(Facebook)

I disagree with the graphics, if you compare the graphics between an iphone and a high end Android there's no match, there are certain games that are release first on ios than android but the same goes for android gets some apps and games before they hit ios. and now since Android moved to 1st place worldwide developers are releasing for both operating systems at the same time, and soon it will be android first then ios. regarding facebook, I don't see how it's better on ios, it's quite the same. if you can share few features that you think are better regarding fb on iphone vs fb on android, please share.

I'm not saying that this phone Neo or Neo V its bad, but it is NOT a high end phone it's a midrange phone.
