Hi everybody,
when I connect the Neo V to the television through HDMI cable,
the vision is nice but, after a while, the Wifi signal shuts off.
The bad aspect is especially when using Youtube, because it's difficult
to notice the shutdown of Wifi during playback of a video:
the video still plays well, but I don't understand if the source
shifts from Wifi to 3G network: this is bad for data consumption.
How can I workaround the problem?
I still use Gingerbread version.
I hope in your answer, thanks!!

Hi there.
In settings go to wireless and networks and then wifi.
In the wifi list tap on the menu key and hit "advanced"
Here check if the "Keep Wi Fi on during Sleep" option is set to "always".
Also the way the phone operates is that if your Wifi signal drops then the 3g kicks in...to prevent this wile watching TV then go to Settings>wireless and networks then "mobile networks" and select to "disable data" (This will force the phone to reconnect to the WiFi network)
To avoid going in the menus to shut down the mobile data, there is a widget for this in the tools widget called "Data Traffic"
Hope this helps
Francis.

Thanks for the answer!
I will prevent 3G attivation through menu or widget before Youtube, ok.
About the first tip, I went to "Advanced" menu of Wifi setting when I see the Wifi list,
but I only noticed a menu "Sospension of Wifi" with 3 options:
a) when the screen is off b) never when connected c) never.
Is it the menu you told me to go?
It seems slightly different from which you told me.
Greetings.
Did this fix it for you?
Hello sdk,
sorry for the delay.
I did the 2 actions I was suggested, the menu's action and the disabling of 3G network.
I don't know the cause, but the disabling of 3G network during the vision of Youtube,
showed itself very effective, and it seems I solved the problem.
Thanks again for the support!!
