X10 min not saving pictures I take

I've got a problem with my xperia x10 mini  exiting the camera when i take a picture an not saving the picture I'd just taken. I read somewhere the other day that it maybe because ive synced my phone to something which i have done which is facebook but i went into settings - accounts & sync settings - manage accounts and removed the sync and its still not working. However i have bin getting a error msg saying someting about my password being incorrect for googlemail but i thinks its because i accidentally tried logging into it instead of just my normal email but when i try and remove the sync it says that "This account is required by some applications. You can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory defaults(which deletes all your personal data). You do that in the settings application, under privacy." Which i dont want to have to do unless its the last resort. So please if it could be anything else then help me.

Hi, it could be an issue with your SD Card. Do you have another SD Card to test?

Some other possibilities could be corrupted phone software or camera app problem. If you do not want to jump straight to Reset or Software Repair, would suggest you to test them one by one.

If there is nothing wrong with your SD Card, suggest installing another camera app from Android Market to test.

ok well yeah ive just receivedmy new sd card in the post when i got home yesterday an it is saving picture to the new one also tho what ive done is copied the folders created on the sd card when you take photos via my pc and onto the old sd card and thats working again now aswell. however i do have another problem every time i take a picture cos i got the phone with an orange contract it pops up with the terms and conditions for orange photo which is like their online backup service which i dont want and have to decline everytime what would you suggest to try and get rid of it. if you think possibly downloading a new camera app then would you mind posting me a link to a standard free camera app on the android market and any useful tips for downloading them as ive not yet used it or installed any new apps onto my phone since ive had it cheers.

Glad that you have resolved your issue!

As for your other problem, my view is to call Orange to see if there is an option to disable it (if not, at least a 'yes-or-no-to-all' option).

I doubt using an alternate camera will do the trick (hopefully I am wrong), however, no harm 'activating' Android Market.

Make sure you have a GMail account, if you don't, create one with your PC/Laptop (remember your Username and Password). Search for Android Market app in your phone, tap it and you will be prompted to enter your GMail Username and Password (you only have to log in once). Once you are in, leave the job to your fingers, all you need to do is 'tap .... tap .... tap .... tap ....' :smileyhappy:. Spend some time exploring it, it's pretty simple. Don't forget to enable either your Wi-Fi or Mobile Network before accessing Market.

By the way, a free camera app in mind is Vignette Demo. Tap the 'magnifying glass' in Android Market to search for this app, once it is found, just tap it and the app will be downloaded and installed to your phone. To launch the installed app, search your app drawer for it, complete it with another tap.

Just come back if you have any question. I believe you will enjoy the Android Market.
