So far no major issues with this update.

Hopefully the next update also includes things "left" out and also a wish list like:

1) The previous power control widget that has the auto brightness function.

2) Ability to zoom while video recording.

3) Ability to record calls natively and not use apps for it.

4) Ability to select the boot up picture/animation without having to root the phone.

I notice that were was an application called "back up and restore" - the original back up icon from Sonyericsson, but I know that this app is from X10 and are not included in the Arc. So where did it came from and how do you find it so you can use it in the Arc - as in the video. Please help me and give me information and instruction how to get it. Thanks!

Thanks to you I found the "back up and restore"   I have OI file manager already so I transfer the file to my computer and transfer with the usb cable to the Arc and open it - first I have to check the unknown siurces but the it was easy to download it. I find this app much better the all the other back up so thank you once again

I live in Australia and bought my Arc from Hong Kong.  I couldn't update using PC Companion but I could do it using the Update Service software on my PC.  Just a hint for those who don't know much like me and are trying to update the easy way through PC Companion.

I'd like auto brightness too.

ok , but how long for the spain generic ? beacuse in spain only have the update , vodafone branded , you know
