Xperia SL memory allocation

Hi,

I noticed that my xperia says it only has a total of 635 RAM. What is the true allocation for this? I though it has 1 GB of RAM? I am running on the latest ICS.

Please Advise.

you only have access to 635MB RAM the rest it's only accessible by Android
