Hi Everyone,

This is vasanth from India. I bought Xperia Sola MT27i few days back and updated with android ver 4.0.4 (build no: 6.1.1.b.1.54).

Issue is; After ICS update, Camera Hot key is not working though camera sofy key is working from camera App.

I tested by opening Camera app from Main menu and pressed camera Hot key, Flash LED only is flasing and but NOT taking photos.

Camera Hot key was working with previous Android 2.3 ver.

What would be the issue? Is there any update/fix available?

Yes that's the Quick Launch mode

You can access the settings by going into the Camera app > MENU key (the right one) > Swipe to the right > Quick launch menu

...and the very above one...

That's how actual camera works, right?

After a long pressing only Camera is opening. Is this expected behaviour in Xperia Sola?

Yep. Camera key is working now. though it is very hard to press to take a photo :smileysad:.
