Xperia T cellular problems

Happy Holidays! Sorry to bother you, but I am exeriencing a bit frustrating kind of trouble with my new device. So here it is. When I power on my phone everything works just fine, untill after some time, maybe 15-20 minutes or so, I stop receiving calls, sms, etc. I can't dial a single number and when I dial my number from another phone the signal is "The subscriber's telephone is not switched on or it's outside networks coverage" - same thing as if my phone was off. I tried factory reset, tried to enable Data Rate, enable and disable Plane mode, but still no luck. After some time, without any signs - my bars are full just the cellular module stops working. Could it be from that I changed location ?  Called my operator's helpdesk, they advised me to backup my data, do a factory reset, and if that does not help to visit servie center. And after the software reset, the situation was fine for a whole day or so. And then again, instantly I wanted to dial cust. support number and the message was "We are experiencing technical difficulties, please call again later". When I dial that same number from my other phone (same operator) it connects to cust. support. Please, help. Thank you, in advance.

the lower the number -105dBm the worse the signal is. it seems that you have a really bad coverage area and that might be the issue

Thanks, uliwooly for the fast response. About getting a new SIM card, the truth is that my current one is quite new, I have signed a new 2 year contract with the carrier and they gave me micro SIM, I put it in the phone and the activated it the next day. Could it be factory malfunction with the SIM itself ?   As for the apps, nothing but the original preinstalled apps, except for facebook, skype, box, dropbox and autocad WS.

PS. I also noted that the signal bars are changing quite often and here i have just one.... sometimes none and maximum of two.... And then the meter goes full and the problems start - no voice calls, sms, mms, etc.

oh ok, so the problem then it's poor network coverage, go to settings > about phone > status > signal strenght

The signal strength with 1 bar is: -105 dBm 5 asu

Now: 2 Bars   -99 dBm 7 asu    don't really know wha tthat means

And still the problem appears often when the meter has full bars...

Didn't have problems since my last post so far. Hope that the poor coverage was the reason. Will keep you informed.
