2012 3D Glasses - TDG-BR750

Anyone know any of the specifications for the newly announced TDG-BR750 3d glasses?

More specifically, was wondering:

  • when they're going to be available (in the UK)
  • if the refresh rates are any better than the TDG-BR250's
  • if the crosstalk I get with the BR250's on my 55HX923 will be reduced/eliminated with these new glasses
  • if equivalent kiddie glasses are also going to come out

Cheers

Jules

Hello,

just bought a pair of the BR750 glasses.

They are very light and comfortable to wear, and look cool too.

I own a KDL55-HX825 and because many online shops stated "only compatible with Sony 2012 TV models"

i was positvely surprised that this is not true!

Altough no one in the Shop knows anything about the compatibility, and neighter on the packing/instruction you find a single word about this. Strange Job done by Sony...

Unfortunately i have the exact same problem as giodeflo9 and wilkyon14:

Disorted and foggy image, like there were protection films on the glasses.

Even the lighted Sony emblem on my TV have shadows now, as well as practical any text on the screen.

I exchanged the glasses yesterday and got my money back, as the shop (even after long phone calls with sony) are unable to get my a new pair. Delivery date completely unknown...

Wait & Hope 🙂

Why does Sony continually disappoint in the world of 3D?

I did see on another forum somewhere that someone else saw the same issue, but the problem apparently rectified itself after 10 or so minutes of using the glasses...

Which means the glasses take too long to synch. 10 minutes is ludicrous.

What glaasses do you recommend using for model XBR 930? Thanks
