My vaio is broken

Hi I¿m a new member from Iceland.

First of all I couldn¿t register my Vaio pocket they wouldn¿t accept the serial so I had to register with my Vaio Laptop serial. I¿m a big sony fan so I buy everything from them.

I was very happy with my Vaio Pocket I bought it in USA in December because it is not for sale here in Iceland. There where no problems with it until I forgot it in my car for one night when there was -12°c outside and it froze or something but I just finished the batteries and recharged it again and then it worked but then if I had the player somewhere it was a little bit cold maybe 5°c I froze. After it had frozen about 10 times it now stopped working. I turn it on and the screen turns on and it is just white. I don¿t know what do to? It is not possible to repair it here in Iceland so I could send it to USA or I could buy a new player then I was not thinking of Vaio Pocket. Maybe Ipot Photo or the new Sony NW-HD5 but I don¿t know if I can trust sony again.

Im really sorry for what has happened to you.
i know you re in a very difficult position.i live in greece and you get nothing right here so if mine broke i would just have to buy a new one!
i dont know what i would do if i were in your position.
just try contacting sony first and explaining them all the problems and your vp's state and see if there can be something worked out!

I believe the reason that you just see a white screen is that your VP's LCD is not working, and the white lights are only the backlights.
Maybe the freezing temperature caused it, because I heard somewhere that LCD is sensitive to heat and cold. After 10 times freezing, no wonder it's not working!
You definately have to send it to a Sony repair centre, if you want your VP back!

anyway, buying new one wud not be a right thing for u for the time being, get repaired first n call the customer care, send them. check out even if the screen is white cud u be able to listen some songs?
dont give it up-- sony is best
