I am having trouble connecting my Ap1L to my pc, I have set up my player, loaded my software, connected the usb lead my display on the AP1L says connected to PC, but when opening Vaio music tranfer or sonic stage it is unable to find the device, Pls pls help:smileyconfused:

Try to initialize the VP 'cos I supose you still have no songs in it.
There is an option in the SonicStage menu that says Initialize 8ca'nt remember which exact option, sorry, I don't have access to SS right now).

does the vaio pocket appear in the "My computer" area?
if not then theres a problem in the cable or general connection between the vp and the pc itself.

mine does it some times,i have figured out that it makes a difference if i go to the main menu first and then connect it.

try removing it and attaching it again...
eventually it will do[well mine does!]
