No sound after upgrading vista

Can anyone help me?

I've just upgraded from vista basic to vista home premium. Since the upgrade I haven't had sound! (only when I boot up).

I have a vio vgn-fe41z.

An FE41Z already comes with Vista Home Premium. How comes you have upgraded to it?

mine came with basic and I had to set the upgrade up myself with the pack sent with the laptop. But I can't get the sound to work.

Very interesting. Not heard that happen before.

Anyway the newest audio driver is here .

Just install it restart and you should hopefully have sound.
