Sorry...........................forget everything I wrote below!! Just checked phone again and still getting "Camera not available" error message. It has got to be something pretty simple......................but what???
Hi Guys I have the Sony Xperia M Aqua and have the same "camera not available" problem. I read on here that it may be an issue with over heating and funnily enough yesterday I mentioned to my son that I thought the battery seemed quite hot. Tonight I tried to use the camera and just got "Camera not available" so I removed the phone case from the phone and felt the battery, it was quite warm. I must add here that I very rarely use the phone so it is not through use that it has overheated. After removing the case the camera is working fine so it could well be a heating issue. I then though is perhaps the case holding the camera button in and that is causing the camera not to work but on checking the button has lots of clearance so it's not that. I will leave the phone out of the case for now and keep checking at different intervals if the camera comes on without the error message.
Will keep you posted on my findings.
