Have deleted a lot of photos and now get the message 'paper basket full', but no hint how to empty it???
Hi @KarinKat, welcome to our forum!
It looks like you are using the Google Photo application, at least the bottom row of icons looks like that, but I'm not quite sure about the once at the top called "Send" and "Gem". Which application are you using?
In Google Photos you can empty the recycle bin if you tap the three lines in the top left corner > Bin > tap the three dots in the top right corner > Empty bin.
I would assume that if you tap on "Slet permanent" the photos in the recycle bin that are still on your device and your account, will be removed, but this will of course depend on the application you use.
Let me know if that helps!
I think the reason you couldn't recognise those two words are, that my mobile is set up for Danish! 😃
I did find the waste basket and emptied it of approx. 800 photos, thank you! 😉
Hi again @KarinKat,
Perfect and you are very welcome!
It's awesome that there is a recycle bin if you delete the photos by mistake and I do believe that Google Photos will only keep a photo/video in the recycle bin for 60 days, but if you upload all your photos to the cloud and then delete them, it will still take up a lot of space on the internal storage, so clearing it manually will be needed
Have a fantastic evening!
