I cant hard reset my sony xperia z3 compact

I´ve changed my password and forgot it, and I need to hard reset my phone. Button combinations don't work and if I want to use Xperia companion I need to unlock the phone. is there another way to do it??

Hi @vasek33, let me see if I can help out here!

You can still do a software repair without having to unlock the phone. Try clicking on Software Repair in Xperia Companion without having the phone plugged in to the computer, then tick the tick the "My device cannot be detected or started, or is a Smartwatch 3" checkbox and choose "Next", after that you should be able follow the on-screen instructions in Xperia Companion.
