Notification sound when on/off button is pressed

when I press the on off bouton ( to turn off my mobile ) it makes a notification sound

I unfortunatly looked in all phone menu to disable it but in vain

I read in someforum that it's due to an update from sony

Any solutions ! I'll be thankful

There is an option in accessibility called accessibility shortcut. Can you check if that's enabled.

That sounds a bit strange. You should not get a notification sound when you press the on/off button.

Could you try if this also happens in safe mode to see if it might be an app that you've downloaded causing this?

Are you sure that the same occurs in safe mode? I don't think there is a setting for this. Could it be something operator related?

Yes the problem STILL exist in safe Mode

I am sure it has nothing to do with the operators ( I already tried to work without SIM card  )

Instead i am not the only one having this problem ( a friend of mine in UK has the same problem )

Try to perform a software repair using PC Companion and see how things go.

Sorry to hear that it didn't help.

There's no setting for this in the phone so i'm afraid there may be something wrong with your phone. I recommend that you first try the suggestion from alexdon to see if this is caused by something with the software.
