softkey woes

Hi,

just after purchasing a brand new XZ5 compact. I do enjoy playing a game or the other once in a while. Since they are full screen either landscape or portrait mode, I've found that the game buttons can't be tapped if a softkey potentially lays above them (they are not visible of course)

Is there a setting I've missed there, since I appear to be the only one with such an issue around the internet?

For games in landscape mode I need to turn the screen, for portrait mode games I simply can't do anything.

The Touchscreen test revealed an inactive region in the lower Part of the screen. Can this be fixed or Do i have to return it?

Hi @ggrmbl, sorry to hear about this.

If the test of the touchscreen in the support app failed (Settings > Support > Xperia Tests > Touchscreen) I believe that the best thing to do is to get in contact with your local support team in order to have your phone sent to an authorized service center. If you have any questions regarding the service such as service routines, warranty and consumer laws, these kind of questions are best answered by your local support team as well, as they vary between markets.
