xperia z2 dead , red light blinking when connected to usb charging cable

 My phone is totally dead, i cant do anything power button + volume up button , force restart button near the sim , and nothing happens , also when i connect to a usb charger the red light is blinking all the time . Please HELP ME i need my xperia z2 back to live....

here is simple explanation to what happened to your phone:

problem is battery, either phone is not being used for a long time and voltage of battery fell down, thats the main reason why it don't want to power on, either its some software failiure.

Solution hints if battery voltage is fell down:

Use original AC charger! IMPORTANT

1. disconnect battery from motherboard

2. press power button and hold it for 10 seconds

3. recconect battery to motherboard

4. connect charger

if LED light is still blinking:

5. disconnect phone from charger

6. repeat 1. 2. 3. steps

7. connect charger

8. press power and volume up button at same time for 10 seconds (until phone vibrates 3 times)

if problem still persist, try with Companion, search how to use Sony Companion online

And last, if problem persist, you should consider changing battery.

I have a similar problem with my xperia z2. It crashed/ shut down. It froze!
It took a while and I pressed the power button to start it again. It booted up like always first with the "Sony Xperia" Screen then "powered by android" and the starting animation. But that repeated a couple of times so it was rebooting , rebooting ,rebooting... I left it alone and after a while it started/launched so I could confirm the pin for the sim card. I thought okay I was lucky, but after 10 minutes it was frozen again and since then nothing is happening anymore. When I try to start it, only the "Sony Xperia" Screen shows up and nothing more happens.
Connected to usb charger the LED is constantly red (no blinking) nothing else. 
All the button combinations here suggested did not help. The only thing the display showed with a button combination was the charging symbol (battery) with the red level.

So I don't know if the phone is gone or is it fixable so I could get some data of the internal storage.
The Sony Companion is also not working because the phone is not detected. Like I said when I attached it to the usb charging cable the LED is constantly red and the Sony Screens pops up no further movement. Normally it has to show the battery symbol for charging but nothing happens.
I tested both the magnet charger and the usb charger cable.
Maybe its an software failure I don't know.

this happens to my xperia z2 ...

the red light flashes followed by the sony logo and turns off and repeats while i charge my phone.

this doesn't work

1. power + volume up 

2. power + volume down

3. power + volume up&down

4. power switch on sim slot

is thr anyway to retrieve my phone?

pls help

you probably need a brand new batery, try charging it with different wall chargers and cables
