Hi,
TV is fairly new.
I get "Something Went Wrong" error message on YouTube.
This happens after I switch on the TV. No other apps are running.
This happens fairly frequently.
I tried updating the TV.
Then I went into the App, removed Updates, rebooted and re-installed. It worked, for a while.
Next time though, it failed.
Ive found if I cast YouTube from my phone it can also clear the error, temporarily.
But its happened about ten times now!
Is there a known fix for this?
Thanks K
It does.
Although that firmware update link applies to other models, that's the one on my TV.
Try clearing the cached data (under Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data) then restart by holding Power.
Thanks, thats worth knowing.
Ive done it even though YouTube is functioning right now.
We'll see what happens next😊.
Glad to hear it's resolved!
Hopefully won't return again ^^

And... Its back!
Tried all ways to clear it, even casting from my phone didn't work. Removing YT updates and restarting got it back. But that may be because it forced me to re login to YT.
It's pretty disappointing as YT fell over on my old Bravia and I never got it working again. Hence, buying an Android TV😐.
I recently had the same issue on the KD-48A9. Clearing the cache and rebooting worked a treat to fix it.
Well at least one of us is happy!
Its happening every day now.
Having already tried that and various other tricks I'm going to reset the tv.
If that doesnt sort it out, it will be going back. 😕
Has the reset worked out for you?
