Hi everybody, I'm new to this forum. Last week I purchased the above. I have downloaded the online manual and have lots of queries to research but two things in particular are annoying me.
1. Numbering and timing don't follow. I recorded clip 265 at 10:55. The next clip I recorded at 10:56 but it is numbered 264 and not 266. Why is that?
2. Is it possible to set up dated folders, so that a day's recording is in the folder for that date and the next day's recordings are in a folder for the following day and so on. This is straightforward with another make of camera I have but I can't see how it can be done.
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers Alan
Hi Alkarail,
Welcome to the community.
I'll see if I can find this out for you. Maybe someone else in the community can help in the meantime.
Thanks,
Pascale
Hi Alkarail,
If the file number setting is set to series, it should name the files from small to large, can you check if the settings are the same as what's explained in the Help Guide: https://helpguide.sony.net/cam/1630/v1/en/contents/TP0000933315.html
I don't think the second feature you're looking to do is possible.

Many thanks for your reply. The camera is set to series and clips are numbering in order. The issue was a later clip had an earlier time!
It's a shame I can't create dated folders, I can with my Canon cameras!
Cheers Alan
Thanks very much. Alan
