DCR-DVD115E live video connection

Greetings - I hope all are safe at this time.

I am wanting to connect a HandyCam to an external video display (projector) to show what the camera sees live - not to playback what has previously been recorded.

The camera I'm thinking of buying is the DCR-DVD115E. 

Does anyone have confidence that what I want to do will be possible? Alternatively - do we know if _all_ sony camcorders can do this or is there a list anywhere of the ones that can?

Hi John,

I've looked through the Manual for this camera and it doesn't mention anything similar to what you're looking for. I believe most of the alpha line of cameras support the Remote control function though, but I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for; so here's the app used.
