Cheated by internal storage :(

As we all know that the internal storage in our Xperia P is 13GB of which 11.26GB is for storage and 1.96GB for Apps, I have used 7.78GB of 11.26GB storage and 3.48GB must be my available storage, but i'm having only 2.32GB. And in Phone memory also I have used 1.16GB of 1.97GB and my available memory must be 829MB, but i'm having only 599MB. Really dissapointed by this. I need more storage space for my apps and photos. If i lose so much storage without any reason its truly cheating. Sony please help Slightly_frowning_Face

I think you should know that several apps or games make their own file data, which can also expand. And there are also temporary data, which take memory.Anyway, for your calm, you could do a reset of settings and data.

Every file is taken to count in this storage analysis, even the third party apps like File Manager shows the same thing. If an app is using some storage, it will be counted under that app only i believe.

Yes,it should be counted, but how many surprises do we get on the xperia p?so,if you will do to it,either repair the software or make a reset of the data, with a backup before.

I am sorry for you,i am sorry for all the people with problems. It is so messed up,some have so many problems, while some do not.I do not have problems yet and i hope it will remain so.Wait for a new firmware,do not repair.
