Google icon missing ?

Hi ! I have had the xperia mini nearly a year, and today my baby somehow managed to get hold of it, and messed about with it, and now the google icon is missing ! It was like a little search box on the main screen and i cant find where its gone, or know how to get it back ! Please help !

don't panic, your baby just deleted the widget

on the homescreen press menu or long press anywhere on the screen > widget > google search > done
