How to get out of Chinese Keyboard mode??

When drunk and on the phone talking I managed to put my phone into Chinese keyboard mode. Although I can still write in English my keyboard layout has changed and I don't like it! I don't know how I switched it on therefore I don't know how to change it back! I have tried settings but it is not simply me choosing Chinese as a language but seems I have actually set up a special mode!

Please help I am getting rather annoyed at it!

open the messaging app > an conversation > tap on the input box > drag down the notification bar > select input method > xperia keyboard
