Lag Xperia U in simple games (Fruit ninja, mega jump)

Hi, i have xperia u and in gingerbread simple games: (fruit ninja, mega jump) etc LAGS 😕 and  3D games woks smooth (Dead trigger) why this? :S help me please, sorry for my bad english, thanks.

I have NinJump and Fruit Ninja Free installed on my U and both run flawlessly

I have same problem like combatantdrip.

Simple games and other stuff lags and phone looks awfull because on my friends xperia x8 those games runs smoothly.

yes you all are right xperia series lag too much i recently purchased ray and it lag like shit after 4.0.4, fruit ninja is just flash & lagg on my ray what to do any chances of proper update for android for ray.

Wile playing the game pause it and go to Settings> Apps and tell me how much RAM memory you have left.

And remember, we don't make the Fruit Ninja app so you will need to contact the developer about issues after the update.

after i pause fruit ninja,nd press nd hold the middle button,den go to settings ,it shows 200 mb RAM free,though i cant find how much RAM is being used by fruit ninja.

hello francis,

as i previously mentioned the problem is only with fruit ninja. i have this lagging from the time i installed the game. though other games like dinosaur war, ninjump, air traffic control, etc work perfectly. so do you think the problem lies within xperia u or the developer? because other phones like htc explorer can play this game without any lag. since the same .apk file is available for all phones, i think the problem is probably not with the developer. i think this might be related to the malli 400 gpu. & let me assure you that i have atleast 180 MB RAM before launching the game. i have disabled internet so there is no question of lagging due to that.

can you please comment? correct me if i am wrong.

that games needs a lot of ram so you need to clear ram first

Do you have root or not?

I play Dead Trigger on my XPU fine (I have yet to try it on my new XPJ though, can't see it running too well, slightly weaker internals than the U, but is getting JB o.O)

Also, what applications do you have installed?
