Lost Backup with Android Gingerbread upgrade

Hi all,

I got the new Anfdroid Gingerbread upgrade last night, but have only just found out that the the back up I ran using the the SE app will not be accessible after running the upgrade!!

Can anyone please let me know if any of the apps on android market can pick up my backup and restore it to my X10, as I've basically now got a phone with no contacts, apps, messages or any data what so ever on it!!! HEEEEELLLLPPP!!!

please help me~~i'm one of owner x10i and when i update my phone i lost all my data,i acknowledge that SE backup and restore didnt work for v2.3,i already do backup before i update but now everything lost,do you know any application can read backup file as SE backup and restore application because i try to install many backup application but cant detect the backup file that i made before with SE backup and restore~~please~~i need all my data urgently,tq

Hi wolly,I've tried downloading the back up and restore from m.sonyericsson.com/backup but it keeps saying application not installed 😞

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

download IO File Manager

download the backup & restore app, transfer it to your SD card, use OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

Okay so i've installed to OI file manager.

For the instruction : download the backup & restore app, transfer it to your SD card, use  OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

where do I download the backup and restore app?
