Hi everyone, and happy holidays to everybody! ;D
Sorry if I may be repeating any kind of discussion that already existed in the forum, but I read every discussion I found about the PC Companion and got no answers...
So, here it is... I plug the phone as I always did with similar devices, and the PC Companion pops up. It says that its searching for the device. Stays like this for about 2min and then tells me that it couldn't find the phone. I close the same message and try to do all the steps that the message had to solve the problem... Thing is, I do it all, and even then it shows me the same message again... This is actually bothering me for a while and I can't find any solutions, because after I unplug the phone and plug again (like a 100 times) it actually finds it and opens the menus... But if I unplug it, and plug it again, it won't find it again...
Please help!! I've tried to reinstall the PC Companion and didn't solve, I even had the previous software to try and see if it worked, and nothing!
Thank you in advance for the atencion given to the subject!

Thing is... I'm not trying to update anything... I'm just trying to get some of the documents, like images from Tumblr or Pinterest and some PDF files from work, from the smartphone to the laptop... I know I can use Dropbox or other kinds of online storage, but to put all the images there (for example) it will take me an eternity...
I had the Sony Update Service, it kept not detecting any device, just like the PC Companion...
I have much more than 700Mb of free space, actually I have about 1,5Gb, so that's not a problem...
Thanks for the suggestions but, like I said, I've tried the other software (Sony Update Service), and it didn't solve anything...
try airdroid
u can transfer ur files
and completely manage ur phone
all u need is to be your phone and ur pc connected to same network..
it is not at a problem you dont need sus ( btw sus cannot transfer files) or PCC for that
Use AirDroid
or just install drivers for the phone and it will be listed in My Computer in you pc

Ok, I though that would do it, because I've heard of people using said app and being satisfied with it... Although... I do as I am instructed to in the tutorial and it stays loading for an eternity and I get no results... 😕 I tried to scan the QR code, and typing the code given, and none of those worked...
it should work
try in another browser
I found another app that also works like airdroid... Wifi File Transfer... I'll try to use airdroid anyway! =D
And the Airdroid works perfectly with Firefox!! Thank you both for the help! =D
