I'm trying to use my Xperia P data connection to connect my laptop to Internet. I connected via USB the Xperia P to laptop, activated USB Tethering in the Settings. Windows Vista (32 Home Premium) needs to install a RNDIS driver (what's that?). I had already installed PC Companion on this laptop but it seems that does not help and the drivers is not on laptop since the Vista's search function does not find anything.
Thanks.

Well, I found the solution by myself and it works on my Vista 32 laptop, here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12758233&postcount=18
Question is: why SONY does not provide this information and/or the driver needed?!

I tried everything. There is no unrecognised device shown on pc. USB tethering is not working on my Xperia P. Please help
The only solution I found is this mentioned here above which worked here to me on Windows Vista 32bit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12758233&postcount=18
You are right maestralien, the solution you found does work. Both for x32 and x64. I wasnt too sure that it would work for x64bit Windows 7, but it does work. Here's a link I found, which includes pictures. It solved the problem for me 100%. I am running Windows 7 x64bit, and posting this from my PC, with USB Tethering provided by my Sony Xperia P!
Just skip right to the section titled: "4 RNDIS"
Hopefully this will help others who have similar problems with USB tethering on the Sony Xperia P.
