Xperia S, ice cream sandwich mobile to pc conn problem

Hi all!

First of i would like to say that i did all the research that i possibly could and I am by no chance pc or mobile wiz so please be patient with me.

I know you have 10000s of questions like this but please try to help me.

I have sony xperia S with all the latest updates(i bought the phone few days back and it updated by default) and i belive i have android version 4.0.4.

My problem is as many users here have is that i cannot connect my mobile to PC. I tried most of the solutions and  nothing worked , all of the solutions i saw include deleting mtpapp which I DONT HAVE!

I have win xp .

it says i have LT26i  and version 6.1.A.2.45

Please help me i am going nuts here

install SUS > restart your PC > disable your antivirus and firewall > run SUS > turn off your Xperia S > press and hold the volume down button > connect your phone to your PC >  your PC should start downloading the drivers, do NOT release the button

i downloaded SUS today and funny thing is i tried this but i did not turn the phone off(in croatian tutorial they said to unplug it- go figure).

version that i hae(SUS) is 2.12.15.18. is there a newer version or is this the latest?

its still the same- i get that pop up baloon saying: found new hardware: MTP DEVICE and it goes on and on and on...

go to my computer > xperia s > internal storage
