Memory card error

Whilst I'm using my phone, a message comes in the taskbar and says that the SD card has been removed unexpectedly whereas I have not removed it. It also restarts my phone by itself and all the apps that are stored on the SD card are no longer visible.

That's probably a faulty SD card, remove it a.d check again (the restarts)

I put in on my laptop and scanned it and it shows no viruses, I also formatted it and put it back. I did the same thing last time and it worked for about a month. The problem popped up again yesterday and I formatted and scanned and now it's back again today.

Does it happen often or every now and then? If the later it could be an app acting up, or if the SIM card its either faulty, not the correct size or loose

It only happened once this year and that was about a month ago and the second time was yesterday. I've had my phone for a year now. The sim is the correct size and is securely fitted. You think it'll be better to buy another memory card?

I would get another SD card, as for the restarts, since it only happened twice, don't worry about it.
