xperia z gyroscope problem

Hi.please i need help.since the last update to 4.3 my gyroscope and proximity sensor are not working anymore.so the auto rotation and all games and apps that depends on gyroscope are useless.i have done the repair process on pc companion but still not working.note that there is no protective cover over the prox.sensor.

Hi, some of the problems around that issue is the screen gaurd, it blocks the proximity sensor and light sensor. My only solution was to send my fone in for repairs, they replaced some sensors at first, but that didnt help at all, the second time my fone went in for repairs, Sony replaced the fone and gave me a new one. The only solution might be to send it to the repair center.

I have just resloved problem.

Do auto rotate off and restart phone then after make auto rotate on.

Now all sensor worked for me

I can't believe that a company like Sony didn't get a real solution for this problem already. I have exactly the same problem in my Z3 Dual and my phone did the update to the Android 6.0.2 and the problem was solved but only for four days. Did this happen to anyone else?

are the sensors working in new one they send, because some forum says it is a software problem

Hi guys, I tried everything that was suggested, at the end I had to send my device to the agents to have the problem solved. I was told when it came back from repairs that it was a hardware problem.

they told me the same they are gonna replace the phone with new one. but i am not sure if the new phone has same problem. did they fix your phone is it working good now?

need help. My D6603 has gyroscope problem in normal mode ( Diagnose App) but in Service mode *#*#7378423#*#* everyhing is ok.

I tried with xperia companion software repair und also general reset, no change.

Any idea?

My Z3 (6616) has a gyro defect, it's stopped working now screen goes blank during a call ffs! And touch screen and buttons doesn't respond till recipient ends call, not much good if it goes into a voice mail lol...  'Please press this button' and there it sits forever.... You have to wait till there software times out.... Cos you can't even turn your phone off. Ffs.. . There's no fix I believe,  I've had 2x z2 before this which went wrong ( other issues). Gonna move on to a Samsung these Sony xperias...
