Your TV is no longer connected to the internet, repeatedly

this comes up every 15-30 mins

 

all other devices are fine, just the TV. any ideas?

Well it’s worked for about a month it biwstpped again. Back to being connected then disconnected to the net.. Have tried all the usual stuff, but think this time i’ll use my expensive warranty and take the tv back for a different model, NOT SONY!

ant believe this is still an issue, i worked around it by connecting to lan

After months of trying every solution going some of which last a couple of days I've finally come to the same conclusion and am expecting an engineer on Friday.

Setting up static up and placing ip in DMZ seems to have done the trick... fingers crossed

I agree, I’ve both Samsung and Sony tv’s, both connected to WiFi, the Samsung gives a discreet banner at the top of the screen when not connected, which is rare, whereas the Sony gives an obtrusive banner whenever I switch the tv on that I’m not connected and 10 seconds later a smaller but still obtrusive banner that I’m now connected.

I have done soft re-set AND factory re-set.

Neither worked. Really frustrated and about to contact my local retailer.
